Website Submission
A search engine submission consists of
sending key search words and a brief description to over 1000 search engines
world wide. Your site will then have a higher ranking in web searches. This lets
more prospective users or clients see your site when they search the web using
search engines. We cannot however guarantee a
certain ranking with a search engine. Traditionally web engines rank websites by
the number of visitors it has, the submission takes advantage of the more direct
route by directly telling the search engine of its existence.
It is important to remember that your website submission will
be competing with every business on the net. Now bear in mind that
the internet is a very, very large place. You will be completing against millions
in not billions of other companies for the number one slot.

Important notes on Yahoo and Google
Yahoo and the Google search engine work differently to standard search engines.
Yahoo requires you to pay a service fee to have your business listed. Google
doesn't not allow web site submissions. To get your site listed on Google you
need to get your site online. If you attempt to piggy back your
listing off another popular idea you may find that your website will
be purged from their database. Stick to what know, keep your site relevent to your
product and ensure that your website follows recognised internet standards.
